Repeat Prescriptions

Please give at least 72 hours notice for repeat prescriptions.

Our preferred method for you to request repeat medication is by using our online service via the link at the top of this page.

Read more about SystmOnline Patient Services and download a registration form here.

Alternatively please use the computerised repeat slip from your last prescription or fill in a request form in the surgery.

Please note that if you request medication that has not been given to you on a regular basis the doctor may need to see you.

The Out of Hours Doctors do not provide this service.

Prescriptions over Christmas

The practice will be closed on Tuesday 25th and Wednesday 26th December and also Tuesday 1st January. With this in mind, please ensure that you present your request for your repeat medications in plenty of time so that you don’t run out over this period.

Cordens Chemist

The pharmacists work in Cordens Chemist and the dispensary at the Primary Care Centre, offering expert advice on medication, minor illnesses and well-being.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
