Tests and Results
If your blood test has been arranged by a GP or Practice Nurse they will advise you on how your result is to be followed-up.
Example: If you are attending a chronic disease clinic and undergoing regular blood tests the Practice Nurse may advise you that the result will be discussed at the next clinic you are to attend or she may contact you if necessary.
If hospital consultant has requested the blood test and you are having your blood taken at Pulborough Medical Group for convenience then please remember that the blood test result will go to the Consultant at the hospital. It is important for you to check with the hospital how you are to receive your result.
Test Results
We are now asking patients please could they ring for test results in the afternoon between 2pm and 4pm.
Most results are back within 48 hours but please check with the phlebotomist who takes your samples who can inform you of correct timescales.
Patient parking is within the Tesco Supermarket parking who were allocated additional parking slots by HDC but waiting is limited to a maximum period of 3 hours - No Return - This is closely monitored by Tesco car parking surveillance
