Guy Mitchell - MB BS. MRCGP
Doctor Guy Mitchell joined Pulborough Medical Group as a partner in July 2010.
Doctor Mitchell undertook his medical training at St Bartholomews Hospital in London where he also studied for a degree course in Clinical Science. During his 6 years at St Barts he also met his wife Wendy, an Anaesthetist.
After completing his studies Docor Mitchell then embarked on 4 years of training in surgery, passing his membership of the Royal College of Surgeons. He then spent time working in both Chichester and Worthing Hospitals.
During this time Doctor Mitchell's two daughters were born, and he began to consider a career change that would give him more time with his family and more time interacting with patients. He decided to pursue a career in General Practice and undertook his training in Midhurst, becoming a fully fledged member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2008.
After working at Pulborough for some time as a locum GP, Dr Mitchell became a partner in the practice following Dr Gibbon's retirement in 2010.
Doctor Mitchell has a special interest in palliative care, having spent 6 months training at St Barnabas Hospice. He also has an interest in sports medicine and in men's health stemming from his surgical work in urology, and due to his expertise he undertakes many of the minor surgical procedures at PMG.
Outside of work Dr Mitchell puts a lot of energy and focus into his family and sport. He enjoys off-road marathons and takes part in triathlons. He finished 6th in the World Medical Games in Italy in 2006.



Patient parking is within the Tesco Supermarket parking who were allocated additional parking slots by HDC but waiting is limited to a maximum period of 3 hours - No Return - This is closely monitored by Tesco car parking surveillance
